In order to assist High School Seniors in making a smooth transition into college, it is important to give them experience with laptop usage in classrooms, internet use, and technological interaction. They will have to do everything by computer, from choosing semester courses on-line, taking notes on-line, sending assignments to teachers by email, etc. Adding more technology into classrooms in high school would help ease this transition.
Need:
I whole-heartedly agree with the above, and I wonder if we can create a way to expand our network avaliability for students to be able to log on using their personal computers or other mobile devices. Perhaps through senior economics classes at both high schools, our students could get a small taste of college-required technology by being able to interact on-line with the teacher.
