Need:
Increase network capacity to support environment controls.
Network monitoring tools to diagnose network traffic.
Use calling system to communicate food service status.

Integrate geo-tracking software into student information for attendance zone planning and tracking.

The ability to text or send emails to students: Updates and deadlines for college applications and scholarships
The ability to address compatabilty issues for a variety of platforms and/or devices - cell-phone, itouch, smartphones, tablets, etc.
Calling system-expand capacity and use for general communications
Support electronic delivery of newsletters, grades and district communications
Support Web 2.0 tools to communicate and collaborate

Need:
I whole-heartedly agree with the above, and I wonder if we can create a way to expand our network avaliability for students to be able to log on using their personal computers or other mobile devices. Perhaps through senior economics classes at both high schools, our students could get a small taste of college-required technology by being able to interact on-line with the teacher.
Additional workstations for college readiness.

Use technology to communicate with parents and students via web, mailouts, etc.

Streaming server that can cache information to be uploaded to remote servers like Pearson, Discovery, Crosspointe, CScope (I think this is already on the Hays Server) during off-peak times. Current peak uploads slow access and communication between district users and service providers.
